NationGraph's $18M Series A: Helping Businesses Predict and Win Public Sector Sales
Selling into government is uniquely complex.
There are more than 110,000 government institutions operating across the United States.
Each one with its own portals, formats, and processes. The buying signals are buried across millions of websites, in meeting minutes, budget documents, purchase orders, and RFPs posted on portals most people will never find.
Each agency has its own priorities, funding cycles, and processes. Critical information exists, but it’s scattered across PDFs, portals, and public records.
At the same time, public agencies face enormous responsibility. They are asked to do more with less, evaluate emerging technologies, and balance competing priorities, all while managing risk.
We saw the disconnect.
Companies often miss the opportunity to get in front of public agency buyers at the key moment of need, before the RFP. Agencies often default to existing vendors, not because they are best, but because they are known.
NationGraph is building the infrastructure to make public sector markets more visible and accessible, by making key public data easier to understand and use.
We're excited to share that we've raised $18 million in Series A funding led by Menlo Ventures alongside Perplexity's Fund, XYZ Venture Capital, Reach Capital, and angel investors who have built iconic companies.
Croom Beatty from Menlo joined our board as part of this round. Menlo has been an early backer of Anthropic, Chime, and Roku, and we're grateful to have Croom as a partner in this next stage of the journey.
Thank you to Ross and JC at XYZ Venture Capital, Esteban, Enzo, and Wayee at Reach Capital, Francisca, Joanna, and Kelly from the Perplexity team, Diede at Go Global Ventures, and our early angel investors who have continued to support and drive our mission forward.
This fundraising round further enhances our ability to serve the teams that serve the public sector.
We're incredibly excited to support our current customers and continue to help them excel. If you sell to the public sector and you're still doing this manually, we'd love to show you what NationGraph can do.
We’re hiring a number of roles to build a modern intelligence layer to public sector data. If you get excited about solving important problems that have not been solved before, we would love to hear from you.
