INVITATION FOR BIDSSealed bids for the City Hall Councill Chambers Security Project will be received by the City of Clayton, Finance Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105-3397, until 2:30 P.M. CST, on March 23, 2026.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:35 P.M. CST, on March 23, 2026 in City Hall Council Chambers, 2ndfloor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105.The Scope of Work consists of providing procurement, design, fabrication, and installation services for ballistic-resistant paneling within the desks located at the City Hall Chambers dais. The purpose of this project is to enhance occupant safety by installing ballistic protection discreetly within the existing desk structures while maintaining a professional appearance, structural integrity, and aesthetic consistency with the current chamber furnishings. All ballistic materials must meet or exceed UL 752 Level III protection standards (or higher). Vendors must demonstrate experience in millwork or finish carpentry capable of integrating ballistic panels into existing furniture systems without compromising functionality or appearance.Bid packages will be available February 27, 2026 for view and download by visitingwww.claytonmo.gov/vendors.A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 10, 2026 at 9:30 AM in the City Hall Chambers, , 2nd floor, 10 N Bemiston Ave, Clayton, MO  63105.Attendance is strongly encouraged to be considered for this project.The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.FULL RFP
