Fort Scott is seeking chip seal and cape seal services for road maintenance and improvements.

Description

Traditional chip-and-seal process with a fog coat finish applied over the chip seal. Contractor will be responsible for preparing the street with good adhesion (e.g., power brooming) for the cape seal and its application. The chip seal asphalt emulsion required is Type CRS-1HP. The cape seal (fog seal) asphalt emulsion required is Type CQS-1F. Various locations Wilson Street; 8th Street; 3rd Street; 4th Street; 1st Street; Meadow/Fairway; Holbrook; 3rd Street; National Ave.; Oak Street; Pine Street, Fort Scott. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
