Description
The Schenectady County Office of Community Services (OCS) is seeking proposals from applicants to provide Court Based Navigator services in Schenectady County, NY. The Court Navigator Team shall consist of 2 full-time Court Navigators in the role of a Mental Health Professional and Peer Advocate. Court-Based Mental Health Navigators (hereafter called Navigators) support justice-involved individuals with mental health needs who are currently in the community. Navigators work with local systems to coordinate voluntary care for justice-involved individuals to support their health, wellness, and recovery. Navigators will work at courthouses and work closely with peer specialists to foster rapid connection to services and encourage engagement and participation with services.Digital copies of specifications may be obtained from BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york or by submitting a request to the Purchasing Department at[email protected].
