Description

This is a single source posting notification; there are no solicitation documents for download. Note this posting is not a Request for Bid (RFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP).The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to enter a onetime agreement with FIAlab Instruments Inc (FIAlab) to purchase two flow injection analyzers—one for orthophosphate analysis and one for both free and total cyanide analyses, along with the related components, staff training, installation, preventative maintenance service and proprietary software licenses necessary for operation of the instruments in the MDH Lab.This has been deemed a single source as FIAlab is the only supplier that can provide these instruments and service them while maintaining the instrument warranty. The Environmental Lab hasthree FIAlab instruments and needs to expand the capacity to maintain current workflow in the Lab related to drinking water analysis for critical inorganic compounds, some of which have acute health effects, making functionality, consistency, and longevity of these instruments paramount. If there are any concerns regarding this single source opportunity, contact Matt Griser atmatt.griser@state.mn.usby Feburary 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Time. Include the reference number and title of the posting in the subject line.
