55 Heard Street Basement Slab Replacement

Seeks a vendor to pour a new basement concrete slab at a city-owned residential property located at 55 Heard Street, Chelsea MA 02150. The existing surface is significantly deteriorated and must be replaced. Demo existing slab. Existing foundation walls, embedded plumbing, and conduit/wiring shall be protected from damage, using handwork where necessary. Remove and properly dispose of material. Properly compact sub-base to ensure flat, stable surface; Lay 4" layer of compacted gravel base; Install a moisture barrier of 6 mil, 6" overlap below entire slab and at foundation walls.
