Description

TOWN OF VAIL PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat four (4) vacancies exist on the Town of Vail Planning and Environmental Commission (PEC) and applications are being accepted.  Applicants must be residents (one year minimum) and registered voters of the Town of Vail.  The terms of the appointments begin April 1, 2026 and expire on March 31, 2028 (two-year terms).  The PEC meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month and meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. in the Vail Municipal Building. Duties of the seven-member PEC include review and determination of requests for variances and conditional use permits, and recommendation to Town Council on special development districts, subdivisions, rezonings, various Town of Vail proposed plans and other community matters per the Town Charter and ordinances. Persons interested in serving on the PEC should submit applications athttps://www.vail.gov/government/boards-commissions-authority-district/planning-and-environmental-commission-pecno later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
