Glass City Metropark Mini Maumee Water Play Underground Vault Equipment Replacement, City of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio

THE SCOPE OF WORK consists of selective demolition of the existing water damaged mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and the furnishing and installation of in-kind replacements to re-establish functionality of the Mini Maumee water feature and supporting systems within the underground vault. Two mandatory pre-bid on-site meetings will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026 and Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Prospective bidders need only to attend one of the two scheduled meetings. The intent of this site visit is to review the project location and tour the construction area(s). All attendees must sign in. The site visit is mandatory, and the areas will be open during this time window. Each bidder should limit representation at this meeting to no more than two people. In accordance with R.C. 307.87 this notice is available online, and Bidders may obtain contract documents/ additional information at, www.metroparkstoledo.com/bids and following the Current Opportunities link. SUBMISSION: Bids for this Project will be accepted via e-bid only through the Metroparks' PlanetBids portal. Each bidder shall be responsible for submitting its electronic bid before the bid deadline. EACH BIDDER MUST FURNISH a bid guaranty either in the form of (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier’s check or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid with its bid.  The successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
