Maine DOT is seeking light capital paving and a Tier III pugmill shim for road maintenance and improvements.

Description

Light Capital Paving and other incidental work. Work include approx 42,850 SY of Removing pavement surface; 1,850 SY of Pavement butt joints; 45 Ton of Hot mix asphalt 9. 5 mm (sidewalks, drives, incidentals); 6,500 G of Bituminous tack coat - applied; 58,616 Ton of Light capital paving; 70 HR of Paving crew; 58,616 Ton of Contractor trucking; 9,000 Ton of Pugmill trucking; 40 HR of Small pavement grinder (including operator); 105 WD of Light capital paving signage. This solicitation has some or all Federal funding, additional requirements may apply. DBE goal is 1.43%. Project locations Towns of Abbot, Burlington, Edinburg, Enfield, Glenburn, Hampden, Howland, Lowell, Lincoln, Newport, Orono, Passadumkeag, Veazie, Cities of Bangor, Old Town. Map #1 is in Enfield & Passadumkeag on Caribou Road beginning at Route 2 and extending north 5.13 miles to Route 188. Includes existing paved shoulders. Maps #2 & #14 are in Newport on High Street beginning at Route 11 and extending south 0.47 of a mile to Route 2. Includes existing paved shoulders. Map #3 is in Abbot on Pond Road beginning at New England Road and extending east 4.86 miles to Route 6/15. Map #4 is in Hampden on Back Winterport Road beginning at the Winterport town line and extending north 2.76 miles to Kennebec Road. Includes existing paved shoulders. Maps #5, #9, #10 & #11 are in Bangor, Veazie, & Orono on Stillwater Avenue beginning 0.03 of a mile north of Tripp Drive and extending north to the intersection with the Exit 193 southbound offramp, skipping the roundabout. Includes existing paved shoulders. Maps #6 and #13 are in Glenburn & Orono on Forest Avenue beginning at Pushaw Road and extending east to the Compact Urban Line, 0.04 miles west of Forest Hill Terrance, skipping the roundabout. Includes existing paved shoulders. Map #7 is in Burlington, Enfield & Lowell on Route 188 beginning at Route 155 and extending southeast 12.99 miles to the Grand Falls Township town line. Includes existing paved shoulders. Bridge Milling - Bridge #2906, Bridge #5112 & Bridge #3883. Map #8 is in Burlington & Lincoln on Transalpine Road beginning at Route 188 and extending north 12.22 miles to Route 155. Includes existing paved shoulders. Map #12 is in Bangor & Glenburn on Pushaw Road beginning at Route 15 and extending north 7.23 miles to Route 221. Map #15 is in Argyle Township, Edinburg, Howland & Old Town on Route 116 beginning at Route 16 and extending north 21.35 miles to Route 155. Includes existing paved shoulders. Bridge Milling - Bridge #2084 & Bridge #3735. Map #16 is in Enfield & Lincoln on Route 155 beginning at Route 2 and extending northeast 12.38 miles. Includes existing paved shoulders.
