26-58 Utilities Mains and Services

Project consists of install or repair mains and services of ductile iron, plastic and copper. Scope of work for unit price bid item earth trench excavation, contractor to transport and install; pipe, fittings, materials and aggregates, pavement saw cutting, back-filling, compaction, dewatering, pressure testing, chlorination and de-chlorination, erosion and sedimentation control, maintenance and protection of traffic, preparation for permanent paving, installation of any transition pieces required for interconnection with existing mains and services, all appropriate safety equipment including trench boxes, flaggers.The contract is for three years with an option to renew for two years at the discretion of NPU Total contract time not to exceed five years.
