TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK COUNTY OF BERGEN, NEW JERSEY NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for: Bilton St., Livingston Pl. & Clinton Pl. Improvements TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY The work to be performed under this contract includes the following: Roadway milling and resurfacing of Bilton St., Livingston Pl. & Clinton Pl. Improvements in the Township of Teaneck, reconstruction of curb ramps according to ADA standards, replacement of concrete vertical curb and sidewalk where required, and traffic striping. Principal items of work in the project include: · 5,500 SY HMA Milling, 3” or less · 800 Ton 2” Hot Mixed Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course · 800 LF 9“x18” Concrete Vertical Curb · 100 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 4” Thick Copies of plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained upon payment of $50 for pick up OR $50 + $15 postage and handling nonrefundable payable to Fastech Consulting Engineers, either by mailing a check to Fastech Consulting Engineers, 235 Moore Street, Suite 200, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or by filling out a request form at http://www.fastech-eng.com. For additional information email info@fastech-eng.com. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Bids will be accepted in the following ways: 1. Bids will be received at the time and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements. 2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope: “Bid for Bilton St., Livingston Pl. & Clinton Pl. Improvements” All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements. 3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location. The work shall be completed within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. “Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.” All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal once opened, and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
