Description

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to permit ADA-09718 (Lot 6, Block 1400), consisting of approximately 49,948 square feet, at Kodiak Airport for ten (10) years. Applicant: Kodiak Airport Park & Store, LLC. Annual rent: $18,730.50 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical – Operation and maintenance of a public parking lot. This proposal will result in the Kodiak Airport Long Term Parking Lot gaining active management. Parking fees will be assessed in order to use this parking lot.Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., March 9, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the permit. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
