Frederick County is seeking boat ramp rehabilitation services for improved access and infrastructure.

Description

Work include the new concrete boat ramp, stone rip rap and rock vane, and providing an accessible route from the existing ADA accessible parking spaces to the bottom of the ramp. The work also includes a new concrete launch slip for kayaks/canoes adjacent to the ramp, a new concrete retaining wall on the upstream side of the ramp- Note that Alternate #1 for this project replaces the concrete retaining wall with an imbricated rip rap. The work shall also include a guardrail/fence at the top of the retaining wall or stone rip rap, as well as new asphalt paving at the top of the ramp, including a new drop off area. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. Q&A deadline March 25, 2026, 4:00pm.
