55th Place West LID Construction Project

This project will require retrofitting the existing stormwater system to provide water quality treatment by using low impact development. this work will require the removal and replacement of existing pavement, sidewalk. curb and gutter, and an ADA ramp as well as the removal of existing catch basins and plugging existing pipe. Contractor to implement temporary erosion and sedimentation control measures prior to ground disturbance. The project includes the installation on new type 1 & type 2 catch basins, installation of six biopods and the construction of a new 12" stormwater pipeline. Contractor to restore all impacted areas, including landscaped areas, to the pre-disturbed condition. Schedule "B" work for the Alderwood Water & Wastewater District includes removing the existing 8" ductile iron water main below the proposed stormwater pipe and tying it into the existing water main system.
