2026 Street Materials (RFP)

Provide concrete mixes approx qty 500 cy; compressive strength of 4000 psi in 28 days; min cementitious of 571 pounds per cubic yard; maximum water/cement ratio of 0. 45; f ash may be used in place of c ash; an approved water reducing admixture shall be used, conforming to astm c-494; all portland cement concrete used shall contain an air entraining admixture, conforming to astm-c260 in proper amounts, to obtain 6. 5% +/- 1% at the point of discharge; all ready mix concrete and materials shall meet the requirements of the latest astm specification for ready mix concrete, designation c-94 and the iowa dot specifications. All aggregates incorporated into ready mix concrete shall conform to astm c-33 and c-40 and the iowa dot specifications. See outside link.
