Description
The purpose of this RFP is to fund eligible community-based organizations to implement Employment-related services programs offering employment support services to people in treatment or recovery, or people who use drugs, such as job training, job skills, job placement, interview coaching, resume review, professional attire, relevant courses at community colleges or vocational schools, transportation services related to employment; Reentry Programs that connect incarcerated persons to addiction treatment, recovery support, harm reduction services, primary healthcare, or other services or supports they need upon release from jail or prison.
This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. Questions due until March 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM (EST). Direct all inquiries concerning this RFP to Mary Banks, at mary.banks@johnstonnc.gov. Johnston County Commissioners approved the utilization of $450,000 to fund multi-year (two-years) pilot projects
that align with the NC MOA. Owner are proposing to add an additional $200,000 in the 2026 budget that would begin July 1, 2026. The maximum allowable funding request per applicant is up to $200,000 over the two-year grant period. Applicants may receive partial funding. Cost sharing or matching funds are not required.
