ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUNDThe Silver Valley Community Resource Center (SVCRC) is a small nonprofit organization serving residents of the Silver Valley area of North Idaho. SVCRC works to empower affected citizens through grassroots education and outreach, focusing on issues of environmental justice and human health.2. PURPOSE OF THIS RFPThe purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified independent contractors to provide grant writing services.3. SCOPE OF WORKThe selected contractor will provide services that may include, but are not limited to:Conduct a funding landscape scan to identify 3–6 viable grant opportunities (private foundations, corporate funders, or government grants).to fund a Community Lead Health Center.Develop and submit approximately [2–4] grant proposals within the contract period.Draft compelling narratives tailored to each funder.Collaborate with organizational leadership to gather program and budget information.Provide a basic grants calendar and submission tracking document.Assist with revisions if requested by funders during the review process.4. DELIVERABLESExpected deliverables may include:List of recommended funding opportunitiesCompleted and submitted grant proposalsFinal copies of all proposalsGrant tracking spreadsheetSummary report at end of contract outlining submissions and next steps5. CONTRACT TERMThe contract will begin April 15, 2026 and end June 30, 2027. Continuation of services is contingent upon availability of grant funding, satisfactory performance, and compliance with contract terms.6. BUDGET AND PAYMENT TERMSTotal compensation under this contract shall not exceed $7,000. Contractors must submit itemized invoices no more than once per month. Payment will be issued within 30 days of receipt and approval of a complete invoice.7. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSProposers must demonstrate relevant experience, ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and provide at least two professional references.All applicants must have a current UEI to be awarded this contract. FEDERAL COMPLIANCE (If Grant Funded)If funded by federal grant funds, the selected contractor must comply with applicable federal regulations including 2 CFR Part 200, maintain records for a minimum of three years following final payment, and certify that they are not suspended or debarred.9. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUSThe selected proposer will serve as an independent contractor and not as an employee of SVCRC and will be responsible for all applicable taxes, insurance, and licensing requirements.10. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTSProposals must include a cover letter, qualifications, proposed approach, budget, references, and documentation confirming an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and current SAM.gov registration.11. EVALUATION CRITERIAAward will be made to the responsive bidder that meets all qualifications and has the lowest overall bid.12.
