Description
DESIGN-BUILD services Phase 1 - the design-build team (dbt) will provide design and professional services to complete abandoned mine reclamation activities at a site that has been adversely impacted by pre-law coal mining. Multiple projects have been completed under the same aml problem area (ethel hollow refuse and portals, wv-2129) previously. Work associated with the stream channel was previously determined to be premature prior to the completion of other reclamation work; this project is now ready to be executed. The design should include but not be limited to the following site access and preparation; erosion and sediment control measures; stream restoration, relocation, establishment, and enhancement; wetland delineation; construction, enhancement, removal and mitigation measures; and other work necessary to meet the project objectives.
This solicitation has some or all Federal funding, additional requirements may apply. Q&A deadline February 27, 2026 by 10 a.m.
