Construction will take place within the Safford Airport at 4570 E. Aviation Way, Safford, AZ 85546. Council approval of award is expected in April, with a May 4thstart date for construction. Substantial Completion for this Project is expected to take 230 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.The Bid Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, are available in digital format by written request to Andi Lindsey,For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address.or from the City’s website. Bidders shall seal and deliver their Bids by2:00 PM local time, Thursday, March 26, 2026,to the City Clerk’s office at 717 W. Main St., Safford, AZ 85546, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All Bids must include a bid bond for 10% of the total Bid amount including all alternates, and all Bids must be plainly marked on theoutermostpackaging with “Attention: Sealed Bid – #AP2504,” and shall indicate the company name and address of the BidderandBid closing date and time. Any Bids received after 2:00 PM on the above stated date will be returned unopened.There will be no pre-Bid conference for this project.The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to withhold the award for any reason the City determines. The City also reserves its right to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days after the Bid opening date and will not allow withdrawal of Bids during those sixty (60) days.
