Description
Provide Sounder bi-level rail coach and cab cars engineering and inspection consultant services to support the overhaul of these coaches currently serving the Sounder line. A total of 58 bi-level passenger rail cars in this rebuild program consist of 40 coach cars and 18 cab cars, which were built by Bombardier Transportation and delivered starting in 1994. These cars were designed for commuter rail service at operating speeds up to 95 mph.
Submit questions by 5:00 PM March 19, 2026. Completion Five years + two optional years. Submit SOQ electronically online.
This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. Clarification #1 issued.
