2026 Street Resurfacing and Repair Project

The selected consultant (“Consultant”) must have the ability and experience to provide comprehensive technical and administrative assistance for the Project. The Consultant must demonstrate thecapacity to work with City representatives, citizens, professional service consultants, designers and engineers, estimators, and/or construction companies related to the Project.The Consultant will provide the following services to the City (as further detailed in Section 6 (Scope of Services) in the RFP linked below):The City of Sausalito invites proposals from qualified teams of engineers and designers to develop the design, create plans, specifications, and cost estimates, and provide pre-bid support for the 2026 Street Resurfacing and Repair Project. Proposals should emphasize:▪  Pavement Treatment Identification – Consultants are encouraged to refer to the 2026 Roadway Resurfacing and Improvements Street List (Attachment 1A to this RFP) that identifies the streets that have been shortlisted to receive surface treatment for FY 2025-26. Consultants shall review the type of treatment recommended for these streets per the 2022 Pavement Management Technical Assessment Program (PTAP Round 23) Final Report (Attachment 1B to this RFP). The consultant shall also confirm the current conditions of the pavement surfaces through field visits and modify the recommended  treatment types as deemed necessary.▪  Final PS&E Package Preparation – Through regular review meetings, the consultant shall finalize the list of streets to be included in the Base Bid Package and the Alternate Bid Package.
