Affordable Housing Financing and Development Sites (RFP)

Affordable housing programs and financing tools to expand, preserve, and restore affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income households. Mayor Bowser’s housing strategy has caused the District to exceed its citywide goal of delivering 36,000 new homes by 2025, producing 36,216 total units as of Q3 FY 2025, and producing and preserving more than 12,000 new affordable units. This achievement reflects sustained public investment, coordinated interagency planning, and strong collaboration with mission driven development partners. the goal is to award affordable housing finance resources for the production and preservation of affordable housing.
