2026 Stump Grinding Services

INVITATION TO BIDSealed bids for the Torando Stump Grinding Services will be received by the City of Clayton, Public Works Department, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105-3397, until 1:00 P.M. local time, on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 10 N. Bemiston Avenue, Clayton, MO  63105-3397.The Scope of Work consists of stump grinding on the public rights-of-way to include but not limited to; tree lawns (street trees between the curb and sidewalk), medians, islands, and common areas.  The selected contractor will be responsible for supplying all personnel and equipment to safely grind approximately 370 stumps, remove debris; and clean up all remaining debris from the designated locations throughout the city.An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 in Conference RM A, 1st Floor,10 N.
