Enumclaw Senior Center Structural Upgrades and Renovation

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for theEnumclaw Senior Center Structural Upgrades and Renovation Projectwill be received a the City of Enumclaw Public Works Office,1309 Myrtle Avenue, Enumclaw, WA 98022until11:00 am on Thursday March, 26th, 2026. Bids will be opened, read, and tabulated immediately following. Bids received after the time fixed for opening will not be considered. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond, payable to the City of Enumclaw of not less than 5% of the total bid.The general scope of improvements includes select interior demolition, addition of stud furring walls, structural steel framing, braced frame anchoring, modifications to non-structural interior walls, all new flooring, all new drop ceiling, select lighting replacement, new interior paint throughout, moving/storage/protection of existing furnishings as required, misc. electrical/mechanical as required to perform the work, and other project scope as outlined in the bid documents. The senior center will be closed throughout the duration of the project.AVoluntary Pre-Bid Meetingfor this project will be held at the project site1350 Cole St, Enumclaw, on Friday March 13th, 2026 at 1:00 pmto provide prospective bidders with the opportunity to access the site, review existing conditions, and ask questions relating to bidding or construction of the work under this contract. The Senior Center will be closed during this meeting. Access to the project site and various areas of the building outside of this voluntary meeting will be limited. If deemed appropriate by the Engineer, questions that cannot be addressed by direct reference to the bidding documents will be the subject of an addendum issued to all plan holders.Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and bidders list) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going towww.bxwa.comand clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of Enumclaw". Bidders must "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List".
