Architectural and Engineering Consultant Services (Request for Qualifications)

Provide architectural and engineering consultant or integrated consultant team services to serve as the primary program partner in support of a proposed bond or levy initiative for Pike Place Market. Serve as part of a broader, highly collaborative team that will support early strategic visioning, scope refinement, feasibility analysis, cost estimating, and design efforts necessary to inform a potential voter-approved bond or levy. This RFQ is intended to identify a single primary A&E partner with the leadership capacity, technical expertise, and collaborative approach required to advance a complex, multi-project capital program within an active historic district. The selected firm will be responsible for coordinating and managing the work of all required subconsultants, including to civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF), landscape architecture, and lighting design. The PDA anticipates that the prime consultant may engage specialized subconsultants to support specific areas of expertise, including public and senior housing, sustainability and energy performance, accessibility, and historic preservation.
