Management for STRs

The City of Taylor is accepting proposals for the following: The selected Vendor is expected to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end solution to assist the CITY with the management of Short-Term Rentals (“STRs”) within the city limits of the City of Taylor, Texas. The CITY’s program goals include the following: Identify non-compliant properties operating as STRs. Provide online reporting and payment platform for STRs. Provide education and training for STR owners. Facilitate ongoing compliance. Increase local hotel occupancy tax (HOT) collections. Provide the CITY with analytical tools, including mapping, to improve compliance, forecast revenues, address nuisance complaints, etc. Maintain confidentiality when allowed on STR-related information and/or nuisance complaints. Maintain best practices against cyber security threats or vulnerabilities to the platform including but not limited to the payment platform. The Vendor shall implement continuous discovery, monitoring, and compliance of all STR accounts in the CITY for the period of the contract.
