Commercial Property Revaluation

Seeking proposals from qualified contractors to assist in the revaluation of all commercial properties within the county for the 2026 tax year. The total number of commercial properties subject to revaluation is estimated to be between 925 and 975 properties. This revaluation project will ensure that all properties are accurately assessed based on fair market value, in compliance with state and local regulations, and are fully updated on the county's tax digest. The selected contractor will perform a comprehensive revaluation of all commercial properties, including physical audits, updates to property schedules, and the application of current market data to determine fair market value All questions concerning the project shall be addressed in writing to John Gorton, County Administrator, at j.gorton@meriwethercountyga.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
