Description
Request for Proposals for San Miguel County Snow Removal of: Down Valley Park, Placerville Park, Placerville Schoolhouse, Bridal Veil Ice Climbing Parking, and Telluride Path Segment San Miguel County Parks and Open Space is seeking proposals from experienced snow removal professionals to conduct plowing of the Down Valley Park Parking Lot, Placerville Park Bathroom Parking Lot, Placerville Schoolhouse Parking Lot, the Bridal Veil Ice Climbing Area and the segment of the Telluride Bike Path from Society Dr. to Hwy-145 roundabout. The successful applicant shall include pricing per plow/hour. The proposal should include a breakdown of a per plow, and a per-hour labor rate with the estimated time and equipment to complete each site. All proposals should include snow removal specifications for storm trigger depth, other special conditions, holiday and weekend exceptions, and any pricing that may differ for special “on call” plowing requests from the County. The scope of work below can be bid in totality or in part. The County prefers a trigger depth of 3-4”, but all bids will be considered. Scope of Work and Deliverables Snow removal of Bridal Veil Ice Climbing Area. (See Attachment 1) Small Pull-off on the North Side of CR-K69 located adjacent to the Idarado Mill entrance (37.93221480087019, - 107.780876550495651). Do not deposit snow in front of the port-a-potty or ice-climbing sign-in register. Snow Removal of the Placerville Park (See Attachment 2) Located at 400 Front St, Placerville. Removal of snow from the Schoolhouse parking area. Removal of snow from the park bathroom parking area. Deposit snow in designated areas on maps (See attachment 2). Snow Removal of the Down Valley Park (See Attachment 3) Located at 22855, CO Hwy 145, Placerville 81430. Remove all snow from the entrance throughout the gravel lot. Remove snow from in front of the dumpster next to the shop. Deposit snow in designated areas on the map (See attachment 3). Snow removal of the Telluride Bike Path Removal from Society Dr. street crossing to the sharp curve adjacent to the Hwy- 145 roundabout. Special attention will be given to the path under the underpass as this area tends to build up ice. Deposit snow off either side of the bike path with no obstructions on the path Proposed Schedule This contract will be for the winter of 2025-2026, beginning upon signing through 4/1/2026.
