City of Hawkinsville Request for Proposals for a Gas System Expansion

Sealed bids will be received by The City of Hawkinsville at 56 Broad St., Hawkinsville GA 31036 until: 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 for the furnishing of material, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and installation of:Approximately 3100 ft of 2” PE gas main and 58 residential gas service stub outs.Bids received after the designated time will not be considered.Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the above address for The City of Hawkinsville. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA OQ Plan.Electronic versions of the bid documents, construction and material specifications and drawings can be sent to you by email. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm at 56 Broad St, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Contract will not be executed until executed Performance Bond and Payment Bond are submitted to The City of Hawkinsville.
