Please note that the bid due date has been changed to February 11, 2026. The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities is receiving bids until February 11, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. Eastern time for construction of the Division of Water’s Parsons Avenue Water Plant – Wellfield Improvement project, C.I.P. No. 690580-100000, the work for which consists of constructing a nominal 20-ft diameter caisson that extends approximately 130 feet below ground surface, installing lateral ports and laterals, installing high voltage primary power feed to the site, constructing a pump house including pumps, electrical, instrumentation, controls and mechanical equipment, and other work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. All questions concerning this project are to be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be February 2, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time, phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services web site and all addenda will be posted on www.bidexpress.com. A pre-bid meeting has already been held. There will be a pre-bid conference held at Parsons Avenue Water Plant – Basement Conference Room at 5600 Parsons Avenue on January 15, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference and walk-through tour. Bidders are charged with knowing whatever was discussed in the pre-bid conference in preparing and submitting their bid.
