DSP Rhode Island Freight Plan Update

RIDSP is seeking assistance with two components of the freight plan update. The first is the Freight Commodity Flows and Forecast to investigate the movement of goods coming into, leaving, passing through, circulating within Rhode Island both currently and in 2050 (estimates). The second component, the Statewide Truck Parking Assessment, concerns issues related to parking shortages for commercial vehicles, an inventory of existing facilities in and around Rhode Island, some possible solutions, and a strategy for implementation to overcome adverse effects on the economy. The proposals submitted in response to this RFP should address all technical issues related to access to proprietary freight data and use of analytic methods to assess changes in commodities flows and truck parking considerations since 2022 as well as changes to anticipated values for 2050
