Borough of Export Storage Salt Shed Project

Separate and sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Export, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania at 5944 Johnson Avenue, Export PA, 15632, until 10:30 a.m., prevailing time, on October 21, 2025. No bids will be accepted after 10:30 a.m. They will be opened and publicly read at the Borough’s office, located at 5821 Washington Avenue, Export, PA 15632 at 11:00 a.m. prevailing time, on October 21, 2025 for the following project:Borough of ExportStorage Salt Shed ProjectContract 1/2025Copies of the Contract Documents must be obtained at the office of Gibson-Thomas Engineering Co., 1004 Ligonier Street, Latrobe, PA 15650, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., upon a non-refundable payment of $125.00 for each set of contract documents. No refund will be made for bid documents.Bidders will be responsible for viewing the project on their own. Any questions regarding the project must be submitted to Allen Kniss no later than 4:00 P.M. on October 17, 2025 via email at allen.kniss@gibson- thomas.comBid Packages must be clearly marked "PROPOSAL ENCLOSED" with job name and contract numberon the lower left corner of the Bid Envelopes.Each proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, in favor of the Borough of Export.No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the same has been filed with the Borough of Export.Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to this project.This project is wholly or partially funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA).Any bid not submitted under the conditions provided herein will be rejected.The Borough of Export reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received or to accept any bid it deems in its best interest.
