Alaska Judicial Council: Public Hearings for Vacancies on the Anchorage District Court and Alaska Court of Appeals

The Alaska Judicial Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding applicants for a vacancy on the Alaska Court of Appeals and a vacancy on the Anchorage District Court. Members of the public are invited to participate in person or by calling Zoom access toll free. The Anchorage District Court vacancy is due to the retirement of Judge Pamela S. Washington, and the Alaska Court of Appeals vacancy is due to the retirement of Judge Bethany Harbison. The applicants who have applied for the Alaska Court of Appeals vacancy are RuthAnne Beach, Lacey Jane Brewster, Patricia L. Haines, and Chris Peloso. The applicants who have applied for the Anchorage District Court vacancy are John Haley, Dustin Pearson, Eric Salinger, Peter A. Scully, Jonathan Stinson, Sam Vandergaw, and Matt Widmer.
