MUKILTEO SCHOOL DISTRICT ALL-WEATHER SAND FIELD MAINTENANCE

INVITATION FOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the Office of Capital Projects, Mukilteo School District No. 6, located at District Support Services Center, 8925 Airport Road, Everett, WA 98204, in Snohomish County, Washington, for  the MUKILTEO SCHOOL DISTRICT ALL-WEATHER SAND FIELD MAINTENANCE at seven (7)  Elementary School locations as listed in the Summary of Work.  The work includes Temporary Erosion & Sediment Control, Topographic Survey, minor Irrigation work, Surface Preparation, All-Weather Sand and Amendment Import, Ripping/Discing/Tilling, Grading, and Rolling.Bids will be received on Form of Bid until 2:00 pm on March 10, 2026, stamped in and held. Bids will be opened and  publicly read following the time set for receipt of the Form of Bid. A Bid Deposit of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Base Bid is required at the time of Bid Opening and must be in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cashier’s check, or certified check.Estimated construction cost: $848,245.00.A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference to answer questions and review the scope of work and the documents will be held beginning at Endeavor Elementary School, 12300 Harbour Pointe Blvd, Mukilteo, WA 98275on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 2:00pm.  All attendees must check in at the main office by 2:05pm.  Following an introduction to the Project and brief Q&A, District Staff and the Consultant will conduct a tour of selected Project Sites.Bidder Requests for Information (RFIs) must be received no later than 5pm Tuesday, February 24, 2026.  A Final Addendum, if needed, will be issued by 3pm Friday, February 27, 2026.Sealed Bids shall be submitted no later than 2PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2025 at the Office of Capital Projects, Mukilteo School District No. 6, located at District Support Services Center, 8925 Airport Road, Everett, WA 98204.Execution of the Contract/PO is anticipated approximately April 15, 2026 and the Notice-to-Proceed On-Site June 22, 2026.  Immediately following Contract Execution, an Administrative Notice to Proceed will be issued.  Between that date and the On-Site Notice to Proceed it is expected that the Contractor will establish all supplier and subcontractor Contracts, prepare and distribute, and revise as necessary, all Administrative & Technical Product Submittals required, and begin procurement of materials. Notice to Proceed On-Site will be issued effective June 22, 2026.  Substantial Completion for all work shall be achieved by the Contractor on or before August 10, 2026, or within 35 Working Days.  Final Completion of all corrective work and administrative requirements shall be completed within 20 working days of establishing Substantial Completion.Free-of-charge access to project Bid Documents (Plans, Specifications, Addenda, and Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going towww.bxwa.comand clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "Mukilteo School District". The  right is reserved by the Mukilteo School District to postpone contract award for the period of thirty (30) days after the Bid Opening.
