Campus Solar with Battery Energy Storage (RFP)

Seeking a qualified solar energy photovoltaic (pv) system and battery energy storage system (bess) provider that shall finance, design, install, own, operate and maintain a solar pv and bess system on uc mercedowned property and sell electrical output to uc merced on a fixed cost per kwh. A Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference was held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Q&A deadline October 9, 2025, 5:00 PM.It is anticipated that the initial term of any contract awarded pursuant to this RFP shall be for a period of twenty-five (25) years. The University reserves the right, and the Proposer agrees to allow the University the option to renew, at the University's sole discretion, for up to three (3) additional five-year periods. This solicitation has some or all State funding, additional requirements may apply.This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement.
