Andersen Library Caverns Fire Hazard Remediation and Fire Alarm Upgrades (RFP)

Provide construction services for fire hazard remediations and fire alarm upgrades; fire suppression and fire alarm engineers to perform an evaluation of existing fire sprinkler protection for multiple storage areas. Their scope was to determine and design system modifications that will adequately meet the current minnesota state fire code (msfc) requirements and factory mutual (fm) global recommendations. The basis of the system design is early detection, smoke control, fire protection through control mode sprinklers, and fire department response and access.
