County Administration Construction and Renovation RFP

The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking design-build proposals from the firms determined qualified by the Board of Supervisors at its meeting on October 22, 2025 to serve as the Design-Builder for the construction of a new County Administration Building to be located in the County’s Tech Park, Innovation Village at Rockingham. The new building will be constructed next to the current SRI Building located at 140 Research Dr, Harrisonburg VA 22802. The qualified contractors as determined by the Board of Supervisors are Harman Construction, KBS Inc., Lantz Construction, Nielsen Builders Inc., and Warfel Construction.A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 140 Research Dr, Harrisonburg VA 22802 on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 10:30am.Click here to submit your RFP electronically.Please note for this RFP hard copies and digital copies will still be required to be submitted by the due date as described in section 4.0 PROPOSAL PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION in the RFP document.Last day for questions - February 6, 2026
