Fire Sprinkler System Upgrades at Lufkin State Supported Living Center

Introduction The Health and Human Services Commission (“Owner”), for and on behalf of its Health and Specialty Care System Division (“HSCS”), is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) for selection of a General Contractor (“Contractor”) to provide general construction and construction administration services to the Owner for Project No. 24-108-LFL, Fire Sprinkler System Upgrades at Lufkin State Supported Living Center (the “Project”), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Solicitation. Project Location, Summary, and Budget Project Location: Lufkin State Supported Living Center 6844 US-69Pollok, TX 75969 Project Summary: The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Provide complete and operational fire protection systems. The systems shall be designed, fabricated, installed, coordinated, tested and placed into service in accordance with the applicable codes and standards listed on the drawings, local authority requirements and the contract documents. The general scope of work shall consist of the following for all areas of the project:Building 529 – provide NFPA 13D Fire Sprinkler systems to protect the entire building.Building 552 – provide NFPA 13 Sprinkler Protection at the existing freezers. Project Estimate: The approximate cost for construction of the Project is $324,045.00.
