PUBLIC NOTICEADL 234687Public Utility EasementMatanuska Electric AssociationOctober 30, 2025Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has authorized issuance of an easement for the following:APPLICANT: Matanuska Electric AssociationPROJECT NAME: ADL 234687GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Approximately five miles south of Palmer, across South Bodenburg Spur, within the DNR-Division of Agriculture’s Plant Materials Center.LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Within the S½ of the NW¼ of Section 34, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian, as shown on the attached site diagram.AUTHORIZED ACTIVITIES: On October 30, 2025, The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land, and Water has authorized issuance of a public utility easement measuring approximately 150 feet in length and 20 feet in width, comprising 3,000 square feet, more or less.DNR-DMLW complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
