2026-004 DISASTER DEBRIS REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL SERVICES

City of Oxford, MS (T-NR-E) Proposals may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, or electronic submission no later than 10:00 A.M. CST on Friday, March 6, 2026. PURPOSE The City of Oxford, Mississippi (hereinafter “City”) was impacted by a winter storm event in early 2026. In order to recover from this disaster and to respond to disaster events in the future, the City is requesting proposals from experienced debris removal and disposal contractors (hereinafter “Contractor”) via this Request for Proposals for immediate debris removal services. PROPOSAL DEADLINE: Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM (CST) POINT OF CONTACT: Oxford City Mayor, Mark Levy at mlevy@oxfordms.net GENERAL TERMS & INFORMATION: A. Proposals may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, or electronic submission at www.oxfordmsbids.com no later than 10:00 A.M. CST on Friday, March 6, 2026. B. Submit sealed, hard copies with bid security via hand-delivery or mail to: City of Oxford 2026 Winter Storm Debris Removal and Disposal Services 107 Courthouse Square Oxford, MS 38655 C. Electronic submissions may be uploaded to the City of Oxford’s bid portal at www.oxfordmsbids.com D. Submittals received after the closing time will not be accepted. Multiple submittals from the same entity will not be accepted. E. Proposers should download the Request through the City of Oxford’s bid portal in order to be added to the plan holders list. 3rd party plan rooms may not receive addendum or clarifications. F. All questions regarding this RFP should be emailed to mlevy@oxfordms.net . Emailed questions will be answered via email response and sent as a clarification to all plan holders. No questions will be answered within 48 hours of the submission deadline. Questions over the phone will not be answered. G. Proposals submissions must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check not less than 5% of the total contract amount. Bid security must be received prior to the submission deadline.
