Request for Bids for Construction of Mill and Overlay Services

The City of Rollingwood seeks bids from qualified providers for mill and overlay construction services. Sealed bids addressed to the Honorable Mayor and City Council will be received at the office of Makayla Rodriguez, City Secretary, City of Rollingwood, City Hall; 403 Nixon Drive, Rollingwood, Texas 78746, until 2:00 P.M. on November 12, 2025 for the construction of the 2025 Mill and Overlay Project in the City of Rollingwood, Texas. The bids shall be labeled: 2025 Mill andOverlayProject Rollingwood,Texas Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Rollingwood, Texas in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City of Rollingwood City Hall at 2:00 P.M. on November 12, 2025. The City Council will officially review the bids at their next regularly scheduled meeting and award the contract as soon thereafter as practical. The estimated cost of the base proposal is $370,000. There is one add alternative bid for this project. The City of Rollingwood reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, as the best interest of the City may require, and to waive any informality in bids received. The City of Rollingwood also reserves the right to award the Contract as may be advantageous to the City. Construction services for this project will be selected through sealed proposals in accordance with Chapter 2269, of the Texas Government Code. Per 2258.022 of the Texas Government Code, the City specifies in this call for bids that the prevailing wage rates determined in the specifications are to be paid. Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured beginning October 24, 2025 at the office of the City of Rollingwood, Makayla Rodriguez, City Secretary, 403 Nixon Drive, Rollingwood, Texas 78746; (512) 327-1838.
