Description
Sealed bids for the construction of the project titled Rehabilitation of the Deep Well Water Supply and Chemical Feed Building for the Dry Branch Water System will be received until 11:30 am, September 30, 2025, at the Twiggs County Board of Commissioners Office, 425 Railroad St., N., Jeffersonville, GA 31044, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the project titled Rehabilitation of the New Deep Well Water Supply and Chemical Feed Building for the Dry Branch Water System as shown on the construction drawings. In general, Division 1 construction consists of the rehabilitation of a 500 gpm deep well water supply or the drilling of a new deep well and minor modifications to the General Twiggs Well. Division 2 will be the construction of the chemical feed building, chemical equipment including chlorination, phosphate, and Caustic Soda equipment, SCADA controls for both wells and the elevated tank, electrical, yard piping, site work, fencing, grassing, erosion control will be awarded as a separate contract. Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review at the Twiggs County Courthouse and the Dodge Plan Room. Copies for bidding purposes can be obtained from Ingram & Associates Consulting Engineers, L.L.C., 332 New Street, Macon, Georgia 31201, Phone: (478) 745-3996, Fax: (478) 742-4690, Email: ashley@ingrameng.com, upon (non-refundable) payment of $150.00 for each hard copy paper set or $75.00 for each digital set. Any contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids are expected to be funded through Local Funds and Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. This project must be completed and operational by October 31, 2026. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise
