CITY OF LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA Jackson Area Phase 1A Water & Sewer Improvements and White Street Draina ge Improvements ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the Jackson Area Phase 1A Water & Sewer Improvements by Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP and White Street Drainage Improvements by Civil Consulting Group, P.C. will be received, by the City of Lexington, Virginia , at the office of the City of Lexington Department of Public Works, 890 Shop Road, Lexington, Virginia, 24450 , until 1 :00 P.M. local prevailing time on March 26 , 2026 . Bids will also be received electronically online at Trasco’s plan room until 1:00 P.M. local prevailing time, on March 26 , 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in person and via virtual MSTeams meeting shortly after receiving Bids at the Bid-Opening Conference Link below. Bid-Opening Conference Link: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/21511017364029?p=bLj5AfSwOvjwsAzu3y The Project includes the following Work: The Project includes the installation of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 6-inch through 8-inch diameter water mains and appurtenances, 5,400 linear feet of 4-inch through 10-inch diameter sewer mains, manholes, and appurtenances, and 1,700 linear feet of 15-inch through 24-inch storm sewers, manholes, inlets, and appurtenances primarily within White Street in the City of Lexington. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
