Description
The City of Redwood City (“City”) Public Works Services Department (“PWS”) is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed wildlife control organizations to provide routine management of California Ground Squirrel populations along a specified segment of the Redwood Shores Levee (“Levee”), and maintenance and mitigation of burrows within the levee structure. The Levee is impacted by burrowing activities of California Ground Squirrels, which PWS aims to mitigate in order to maintain the structural integrity, stability, and continued safety and reliability of the levee system. The term shall be for a one year period from the effective date of the contract. The contract may be renewed for up to two consecutive, one year increments after the initial contract period, at the discretion and approval of the City. Proposers are strongly encouraged to inspect and evaluate the project site prior to submitting a proposal. Failure to do so shall not relieve the proposer of the obligations of the scope of work or result in any claim for additional compensation. Documents
