Description

Provide building plan check and inspection services on an on-call, as needed basis for the planning and building department. Provide building inspection services. This service shall consist of providing a building inspector to supplement city staff on an as needed basis. Conduct residential and commercial building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections. Monitor the contractor's operations. Keep city staff informed of work progress and problems. Prepare daily reports including complete, accurate, and concise records of the work. Act as the city liaison. Ensure the contractor complies with all code requirements, permits, and approvals.
