Description
The City of Gaithersburg is seeking proposals from interested consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering and surveying services for improvements within MDOT SHA Right-Of-Way and City of Gaithersburg Right-Of-Way to improve pedestrian safety at/near the following intersections: The City’s expected engineering and surveying budget range is $150K - $175K. The City’s goal is to have the total construction costs and construction inspection and testing expected to be in the range of $600K-$650K range. The funding for the project is being supported by developer agreement. The consulting firm is to design with budget as a priority. The City does not look to obtain any Right-Of-Way or easements associated with this project unless absolutely necessary, nor perform utility relocation.
