ARCHITECT FOR POLICE BUILDING

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit statements of qualifications from professional architectural firms with demonstrated experience design of municipal facilities, including delivery of standalone single use law enforcement buildings through a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery method. The selected firm will provide architectural design services for the Police Department Building project and will work collaboratively with Town staff, the Owner’s Representative, and other consultants. The architectural services procured through this RFQ are intended to support a phased project delivery approach and may be utilized in connection with a (CMAR) project delivery method, as authorized under Texas Local Government Code Chapter 2269. This solicitation is conducted in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254 – Professional Services Procurement Act, which requires selection based on demonstrated competence and qualifications rather than competitive bidding. Compensation will be negotiated with the most qualified firm as determined by the evaluation committee and approved by the Town Council. Please note that to be considered, all statements of qualifications must be received by 2:00 PM on March 09, 2026.  Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered for the award of this contract and will be considered void and unacceptable.Proposals will be accepted in digital format only.Submissions will be date and time-stamped upon submission. The public opening will be virtual and held on March 09, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Submittals will be opened immediately after the RFQ deadline. As this is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and not a competitive bid, only the names of the responding firms will be read aloud. No evaluation or discussion of the contents will occur at the public opening. All statements of qualifications will be reviewed and evaluated in accordance with the selection criteria outlined in this RFQ.
