Boulder County Forestry Contractor

Projects will involve both mechanical and manual cut/pile operations, requiring contractors to possess, or procure through subcontracting, conventional ground-based equipment (rubber-tired skidder, feller-buncher, and delimbing/processing capability) as well as ctl (cut-to-length) systems (harvester and forwarder). Contractors must also have access to the following whole-tree chippers, horizontal grinders, and the ability to provide all transportation needs for forestry operations. Additional responsibilities include road and landing improvements/maintenance, snow removal, and supplying necessary equipment for these tasks. The selected contractor will demonstrate extensive experience working on sensitive sites and maintain an exceptional, customer-oriented approach throughout project execution.
