Description

Demolish three (3) grit classifiers, install two (2) owner-furnished grit washers and control panels, removing and replacing five (5) owner-furnished grit pumps, installing five (5) owner-furnished VFDs, providing all associated equipment including plug valves, piping, conduits, wires, seal water system, and equipment connection fittings, and providing the mechanical, structural, instrumentation and electrical retrofits necessary to configure the grit washers and grit pumps as shown on the plans and specifications. Two bid alternates are included to replace 45-degree bends in Gallery A and to remove and replace an 8" grit overflow pipe and fittings. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
