CITY OF WAUWATOSAPURCHASING DEPARTMENTREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSConsulting Services 26-70 Sanitary Dye Water TestingOFFICIAL NOTICEPROPOSALS REQUESTED:  Formal proposals will be received, per the instructions below, until 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.  Proposals received in response to this request will be forwarded to the City’s Engineer for evaluation and consideration.   NOTE:  This is not a pubic bid opening.The City of Wauwatosa is seeking comprehensive proposals from well qualified consulting firms to provide complete investigations and analysis to surcharge dye water test storm sewers, quantify storm sewer exfiltration, CCTV the sanitary sewer main, quantify infiltration in the sanitary sewer system for both public and private, and document the results.  The consultant will also compare the results to past results to quantify any infiltration reduction and to evaluate the effectiveness of constructed improvements to the sanitary sewer system. Each consultant is responsible for determining all factors necessary for submission of a comprehensive proposal in accordance with the City of Wauwatosa Request for Proposal dated February 4, 2026 and this Official Notice.Proposal documents are available via email.   Please contact the City of Wauwatosa Purchasing Department at lschleimer@wauwatosa.net or by phone at (414) 479-8958 to obtain them.Pre-Proposal Meeting:   A pre‐proposal meeting will not be held for this RFP.Questions concerning this proposal request will be received through Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM. All questions should be directed to Laurie Schleimer, Purchasing Coordinator, via email, lschleimer@wauwatosa.net., When deemed relevant, responses to questions received will be distributed to all RFP holders of record, via an Addendum to ensure uniformity, by 4:00 PM on Monday, February 23, 2026.  Please include “Consulting Services: Sanitary Sewer Dye Testing” in the subject line.Consultants are not permitted to contact individual City Council members or other City staff for clarification of the RFP.   Any such contact may disqualify the consultant from evaluation.Proposal responses are due not later than 4:00 PM, Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
